Winnipeg Route 145

Route 145 (locally known as Wilkes Ave.) is a city route in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It runs from the Perimeter Highway (where it becomes Provincial Road 427) to Route 80/Waverley Street.

Part of the route has been moved to the new Sterling Lyon Parkway because of the Kenaston underpass project under the railway at Route 90/Kenaston Blvd., which will remove traffic delays caused by trains crossing Route 90.

The Sterling Lyon Parkway was completed and opened to traffic in November 2005. The new four-lane divided principal arterial road will also replace part of the two-lane rural-standard road west of Route 90. The speed limit for the most part is 80 km/h (50 mph) in the suburban area, and 90 km/h (55 mph) as it transitions into a rural road towards the Perimeter Highway.
